Engine 307 and Ladder 154 opened on February 2, 1925, and proudly serve the Jackson Heights community in Queens. Known as “The Jackson Heights Knights,” Ladder 154 is the first-due truck company to LaGuardia Airport, while Engine 307 is second-due.

The members of this firehouse honor all who have served within its ranks, but especially remember Lieutenant Steve Reisman of Engine 307. Lieutenant Reisman began his career as a firefighter in the South Bronx before serving as a Lieutenant in Jackson Heights. A dedicated member of the Fire Safety Unit, he responded to the call on September 11 and worked tirelessly on the pile in the aftermath. In 2014, he tragically passed away from cancer following his final, courageous battle. Known for his trademark phrase “Feel the Love,” Lieutenant Reisman left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
